Thousands of mourners took to the streets of London to pay their final respects Queen Elizabeth II during the funeral.

Queen Elizabeth II was laid to rest on Monday September, 19 following a ten day mourning period for the United Kingdom.

On Thursday Septemeber 29, her death certificate confirmed that the Queen died at 3.10pm at Balmoral Castle near Ballater in Scotland.

The document lists the cause of death as “old age” and is signed by the Queen’s daughter, Anne, the Princess Royal.

The funeral took place at Westminster Abbey and saw thousands of people attend from around the world. The affair included many traditions like the breaking of the wand of office which symbolises the official end of a Monarch’s reign.

The funeral service itself lasted around 55 minutes, however, attendees started arriving at 8am.
